Mike Wzowski on the Rolling Road

Wanna see what 173 bhp looks and sounds like on the rollers?

173 BHP

Last night saw Mike Wzowsk run in earnest for the first time - not on the racetrack this time, but on a rolling road. Straight out of the box we managed a respectable 164 bhp, but then after four hours of tweaking we were up to a very satisfying 173bhp - not bad for an 1800cc Zetec! Next up testing at Snetterton on the 8th of March.

Meet the Team - Kermit

Hi I'm Kermit the race-car (no-one call spell Mike Wzowski), Al is just testing his web/blog editing skills, but has promised to make a proper update about me this week.
I have had charming time with the team so far, on the day they bought me, I had all clothing ripped off (aka bodywork) and now they're tinkering with my innards!!!

Most likely to say: Brum, brum, screeeeeeeeech

Meet the Team - Liz

Liz is the soon-to-be wife of JB. Liz has very little experience of racing, and hence does not show the same signs of intense boredom when racing is mentioned, as the other WAGS (Suzie Sue excepted). JB has forgotten to tell Liz about the early starts, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, and inclement British weather, so for now we have another enthusiastic to member.

Most likely to say: "I think I might change into another top, and then have a quick snooze"

Meet the Team - JB

The official role of "Global Head of Talking Bollocks" was always a position which remained sadly unfilled at Des and Al Racing, but with the re-branding to MAD-Racing, the board have now realised that the team can no longer function without this important role being filled.

JB has kindly offered to take on the role. He has a long history of tea drinking, checking wheel nut torques and applying stickers.

JB is easily recognized as being the only male member of the team with a modicum of style.

Most likely to say: " we have recently started using the fuel pump off the space shuttle - most people seem to think the flow rate is too high, but that is only because they are not flat through Coram...."
